Jordan is Palestine and Palestine is Jordan.

Jordan is Palestine and Palestine is Jordan

Jordan is Palestine. Palestine is Jordan. This is the royal decree and sentiments of two of the kings of Jordan.

“Palestine and Jordan are one…” said King Abdullah in 1948.

“The truth is that Jordan is Palestine and Palestine is Jordan,”said King Hussein of Jordan, in 1981.

Let’s closely examine the facts of history from the Arab perspective, rather than the Jewish one, regarding Jordan and Palestine.

“Palestine is Jordan and Jordan is Palestine; there is only one land, with one history and one and the same fate,” Prince Hassan of the Jordanian National Assembly was quoted as saying on February 2, 1970.

Accordingly, Abdul Hamid Sharif, Prime Minister of Jordan declared, in 1980, “The Palestinians and Jordanians do not belong to different nationalities. They hold the same Jordanian passports, are Arabs and have the same Jordanian culture.”

In other words, Jordan is Palestine. Arab Palestine. There is absolutely no difference between Jordan and Palestine, nor between Jordanians and Palestinians (all actually Arabs).

This fact is also confirmed by other Arabs, Jordanians and ‘Palestinans’ who were either rulers or scholars.

“There should be a kind of linkage because Jordanians and Palestinians are considered by the PLO as one people,”according to Farouk Kaddoumi, then head of the PLO Political Department, who gave the statement to Newsweek on March 14, 1977. Distinguished Arab-American Princeton University historian Philip Hitti testified before the Anglo-American Committee,

“There is no such thing as ‘Palestine’ in history.”

According to Arab-American columnist Joseph Farah,

“Palestine has never existed – before or since – as an autonomous entity. It was ruled alternately by Rome, by Islamic and Christian crusaders, by the Ottoman Empire, and briefly by the British after World War I. The British agreed to restore at least part of the land to the Jewish people as their homeland. There was no language known as Palestinian. There was no distinct Palestinian culture. There has never been a Palestine governed by the Palestinians. Palestinians are Arabs, indistinguishable from Jordanians (another recent invention), Syrians, Lebanese, Iraqis, etc.”

These authoritative, honest statements are by Arabs, Jordanians and Palestinians, and absolutely must be taken at their face value and word. All right, so you’re not quite into quotes. How about these tasteful tidbits of historical facts?

* Jews, not Arabs, have lived continuously in the ancient Biblical Promised Land of Israel, especially Judea and Samaria, for 3,700 years. This land was given as a gift by G-d to the Children of Israel (Hebrews, Israelites, Jews) and is so stated in all of the three monotheistic religions’ holy books – Old Testament, New Testament and Quran. Faithful followers of Judaism, Christianity and Islam all believe in the same one G-d and therefore must believe the word of their G-d. G-d does not make and break his promises. There is a very valuable lesson to be learned by all his children and faithful followers.* The current queen of Jordan is an Arab ‘Palestinian’.

* Approximately half of Jordan’s prime ministers since 1950 have been Arab ‘Palestinians’.

* More than 2/3 of the Jordanian people are Arab ‘Palestinians’.

* The majority of citizens residing in the capital of Amman are Arab ‘Palestinians’.

* Arab ‘Palestinians’ constitute not less than one half of the members of the armed forces, according to the late King Hussein, as broadcast on Amman Radio February 3, 1973.

* The majority of other security forces are Arab ‘Palestinians’.

* Jordan occupies 77% of the original Palestine Mandate (originally promised to the Jewish people). The population density of Jordan is less than 61 people per square mile leaving lots of room to absorb many more of their brethren and cousins.

Want to delve even deeper? Let’s explore further. We all need to refresh our memory, as ‘short-term syndrome’ has taken over. Now for a little history lesson, for those who do not recall the reality of the past. The British tried to placate the Arabs by giving them part of the land designated under the Palestine Mandate (originally allocated under the Balfour Declaration for the establishment of a Jewish homeland). Britain created an entirely new province by severing 77% of historic Palestine (and an additional 3% was also allocated to Syria), on the eastern bank of the Jordan River (some 35,000 square miles), and establishing the state of Transjordan.

Faisal, who had been King of Syria, was deposed by the French, so the British offered him the throne of Iraq, which he accepted. Faisal’s brother Abdullah was installed as the new nation of Transjordan’s ruler on April 1, 1921 (April Fool’s Day), thereby completing the appeasement of Arab rulers.

During the Arab-Israeli war of 1948, in which nine Arab nations attacked Israel, they took control of the ancient biblical territories of Judea and Samaria (Jewish territory, which was “occupied” for nineteen years until 1967, when it was liberated and reconquered in yet another defensive war).

On April 24, 1950, Abdullah formally merged all of Arab-held Palestine with Transjordan and granted citizenship to all Arab residents and settlers (the vast majority of whom arrived the 1920s for economic reasons).

The Hashemite Kingdom was no longer only across the river so the prefix “Trans” (meaning “across”) was dropped, and henceforth, the land became known as Jordan; i.e., Arab Palestine.

Remember, Jordan is Palestine. Arab Palestine.

Don’t take my word for it. Listen to King Abdullah, King Hussein, Prince Hassan, Farouk Kaddoumi, Phillip Hitti and Joseph Farah, Arab, Jordanian and Palestinian authorities on the subject; and listen to the historical facts, as well.

Jordan's Abdullah II Backs Fatah-Hamas Unity Deal - Jordan is Palestine

Underscoring the chill in relations between Israel and Jordan since his ascension to the throne in 1999, King Abdullah II on Wednesday welcomed Cairo's Fatah-Hamas reconciliation.

The King's remarks, publicized in a Royal Court document, were made during a meeting with Fatah and Hamas emissaries who came to express their appreciation for Abdullah's support for their aspirations.

Regarding Jerusalem, Abdullah said Jordan will continue its role in "protecting holy sites" and supporting Fatah and Hamas in Jerusalem in "confronting Israeli unilateral measures," which, he said, seek to alter the identity of the Holy City.

“Jordan will continue to support you politically and economically during the next stage until reaching the establishment of an independent Palestinian state on Palestinian national soil,” the King said.

Abdullah's reference to "A Palestinian state on Palestinian soil" marks a notable departure from his family's long-held position and underscores the chill he has fostered in relations between the Hashemite monarchs and Israel since he ascended the throne.

"The truth is that Jordan is Palestine and Palestine is Jordan," his father King Hussein said in 1981.
"Palestine and Transjordan are one," his grandfather and namesake King Abdullah I told the Arab League in Cairo in 1948.

"We are the government of Palestine, the army of Palestine and the refugees of Palestine," Jordanian Prime Minister Hazza' al-Majali said in 1959.

"Palestine is Jordan and Jordan is Palestine; there is one people and one land, with one history and one and the same fate," Prince Hassan, brother of King Hussein, told the Jordanian National Assembly in 1970.

Some attribute Abdullah's departure from his family's traditional view that "Jordan is Palestine" not to statecraft, but to marriage.

Jordan's Queen Raina, though born in Kuwait, is the child of Arab parents from Tulkarem in the PA controlled part of Samaria.

However, most experts suggest Abdullah's support of “Palestinian aspirations” is grounded in self-preservation – admitting Fatah and Hamas to Jordan would be just as dangerous for the Hashemite Monarchy as it has proven for Israel.

In September 1970, popularly known as “Black September,” Abdullah's father King Hussein was forced to declare martial law and crack-down on PLO terrorists under then Chairman Yassif Arafat who had taken over the East Bank of the Jordan and challenged his rule.

Current PA Chairman Mahmoud Abbas was a trusted member of Yassir Arafat's inner circle responsible for developing Fatah's networks and raising funds for PLO operations at the time, including the Munich Massacre in 1072.

How long will Jews watch the disintigration of their land and not do anything? They will have to act with strength. Jews should be allowed to pray whereever they choose.

Since a naive Rabin, signed the Oslo Accords, more Jew's have died in act s of terrorism, than in the 46 years prior to Oslo. And yet leftist Jew's want to sign more worthless documents. The Koran states that a Muslim does not have to honor an agreement wit h a non Muslim. Stop saying "mea culpa" because one Jew may have killed a Muslim child. Avenge the blood of those 1500+ Jew's, who have been murdered by the "jookeem".

In more than just theory, the Palestinians also have a government, police force, etc, two in fact. Unfortunately their "governments" encourage their people to "take the law into their own hands" and ride roughtshod over the rights of anyone not more powerful than they are. And if you want to put a fine point on it, they also established the "exchange rate" of Jews to Arabs with the Shalit deal and all the lopsided obscene deals that preceeded it. Nothing, by the way was preventing the Palestinians from building the same bomb shelters we build for our own citizens.Cement wasn't lacking They bulit tunnels and protect only the terrorists. Nope, murder is murder but the murderers will be found and they will not be rewarded or honored. No pensions paid, no streets or squares named in their honor. Unfortunately it also looks like, it the hysteria building up that the government is loolking for a civil rights grab ("unlawful associations", "terrorist group" designations and adminitrative detention--bureaucratese for arrest without trial or access to legal counsel for whatever group the government who knows whats good for us decides is an unapproved association(its definitely not applied evenly--a development that should worry every citizen severely because "they" becomes "me" awfully fast.). With the past track records of picking up people who were absolutely innocent for "price tag" crimes who only got a fair hearing because they had access to lawyers who could insist on proceedure and civil rights and allowed them to prove they were innocent, we should be very, very wary.

the fallacy of this poorly stated argument is quite apparent: the Jews in Israel have their own army to rely upon for response to terror; when they "take the law into their own hands" they are commiting not only a criminal act, but an infringement on the government's authority and prerogative

    murder doesn't justify murder

What she is saying is that the IDF and olive are usually ordered not to interfere in Arab terrorist acts like rock throwing until a child dies or is severely burned from a firebomb. When there was firebombing of Jewish houses in Jerusalem, the police refused to come to the area. Daily attacks have been happening for a year and the Israeli army and police do nothing until it is too late and someone is killed. Even then the police or army will state the victim died from a work accident, or robbery, or suicide or a traffic accident. Only much later, they admit it was terrorism and their excuse is that they did not want the Israelis to get too angry so they lied. Why do you think people are furious with the government? Appeasement towards the Oalestinians brings more deaths and serious injuries, not less.

    Bonnie Geller that's right.
the IDF is there to provide real protection. and the IDF - regardless of who's running it or the gov - knows quite well the difference between the low-level random acts of nasty violence and the real acts of terror.

And they know from last year, how Jewish "retribution" can become the spark itself for a new war

And whichever "settler" or other occupier of the shtachim can't abide by that understanding, would be well-advised to move to Monsey, NY or Perth, Australia
